King Alhaji Hassan Bangura is not only the Tribal Head of the Themne people in the Western Area, he is also the husband of three and the father of 16.
The Septagenarian who once had six wives shares his experience with Salon Kontri Pot TV Crew. He said unlike other polygamous homes where the wives are assigned specific days to spend time with the husband, he operates an open door policy.
In his own case, each of the wife sleeps in his room at their own convenience. Anyone who decides to sleep in my room does so until she is satisfied, then she would move out and another (who so desires) enters. Each of them have their own rooms in the same house.
All three wives said they are content and happy being married to the same man.
